Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This policy covers the website wyrmholdthegame.com and the video game Wyrmhold: Ash and Avarice (together, "Wyrmhold"). It is published by DHG Game Studio, a trade name of Tim Dozal, an individual ("we", "us"). We keep it short because we collect very little.

The short version

This website

We do not ask you to enter any personal information on this website, and it sets no cookies. Our hosting provider, GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.), may process standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not receive or use that data to identify you. The site loads its own fonts and images from the same server and does not call third-party services.

Links to Steam, the Epic Games Store, social networks or other sites take you away from this website. Those services have their own privacy policies and we do not control them.

The game

Wyrmhold saves your progress, settings and unlocks as files on your own computer. That data stays on your device and we do not receive it.

The game does not collect your name, email address, location, contacts or any other personal information, and it does not send gameplay or device data to our servers.

Storefronts and platform services

If you buy or play Wyrmhold through a storefront such as Steam or the Epic Games Store, that platform handles your account, payment, and any platform features such as achievements and cloud saves, and is responsible for that data under its own privacy policy. We receive only aggregated sales and usage information the platform chooses to give developers, which does not identify you personally.

If the game uses Epic Online Services, Epic processes the data needed for those services under the Epic Games Privacy Policy.

If you contact us

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and keep them only as long as needed to deal with your request.

Children

Wyrmhold is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, the UK or California) you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Because we hold essentially none, the answer will usually be that we have nothing, but you are welcome to ask using the contact below.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Wyrmhold handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
